The Ghana Tourism Authority is organizing a Blood Donation Exercise as part of its 50th Anniversary Celebrations, at the forecourt of its Head Office at Ridge, in Accra on Friday, 11th August 2023 at 9:00 am.
The Golden Jubilee Celebrations which was launched on the 4th of April, 2023, is under the theme: “SUSTAINABLE AND INCLUSIVE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT: 50 YEARS AND BEYOND”.
All agencies under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the Tourism Private Sector Operators under the Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF), and Institutions within the GTA Head Office enclave will donate a pint of blood to the medical team from Ridge Regional Hospital.
The Authority is organizing the blood donation exercise in partnership with the GFA Foundation, Cocoa Processing Company, and Keystone Medical Services to save lives as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility while encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
