Reverential Night of The Panafest & Emancipation 2025

The ceremony represented a significant reconnection with our heritage and the ancestors who faced the immense challenges of the slave trade, inspiring the essence of this meaningful evening, The Reverential Night. It is our sincere hope that future generations will be spared from enduring similar hardships.

Mrs. Maame Afua Houadjeto, the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, expresses her heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in the procession. We would like to extend particular recognition to Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, the Paramount Chief of Oguaa, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Professor Kobby Mensah, Professor Esi Sutherland-Addy, and the Panafest Secretariat for their invaluable contributions.

Additionally, we are immensely thankful to the dedicated team at the Ghana Tourism Authority for their steadfast support in ensuring that the Panafest & Emancipation 2025 celebration is truly unforgettable. Thank you.
