Yesterday, the sensational duo Afronita and Abigail, who secured the 2nd runners-up position in the recently concluded Britain’s Got Talent event, paid a visit to the Ghana Tourism Authority. Their remarkable performance on the global stage has made them worthy ambassadors for the Ghanaian flag.
During their meeting with officials from the Ghana Tourism Authority, they engaged in discussions with CEO Akwasi Agyeman. Mr. Agyeman expressed gratitude for their outstanding achievements and praised their representation of Ghana. He assured them of continuous support for their craft and presented them with thoughtful gift packs.
Accompanied by their parents, the two dancers expressed joy at the warm reception they received. It’s worth noting that Abigail and Afronita were welcomed back to Ghana with great enthusiasm last Monday at Kotoka International Airport after their successful stint in the UK.
Next on their agenda, the talented duo will take the stage at the West Africa Music and Arts Festival (WAMA) Area Code concert on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the University of Ghana campus. The Area Code event promises to be a highlight of the festival, showcasing their exceptional talent and celebrating Ghana’s vibrant arts scene.
