Location and Features
It is located at Osu between the Independence Square and the Accra Sports Stadium.
History
Prior to its redevelopment, the site had busts of the three notable victims of the 1948 Christiansborg crossroads shooting; namely Corporal Attipoe, Sergeant Adjetey, and Private Odartey Lamptey, who were killed by armed colonial police during a peaceful protest, and an open area which had become bushy and lacked attention.
As part of efforts to enhance attractions especially national monuments, the GTA under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture and in partnership with the Osu Klottey Assembly and Humanlitech, a lightening company took steps to enhance and remodel the park to reflect national pride.
The newly redeveloped site has also been fenced to help better manage the place.
The feat has been achieved and has culminated in the grand commissioning of the Nationalism Park by the President H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Key Features
The redesigned park has a nightlife theme with different lightening designs. It has a sculpture called “Koklozi le kpedzi” which is an ‘Egg on Stone’ monument’ surrounded by Adinkra Symbols. Other key features of the site include a Children’s Playground, a Restaurant, Snack Bar, Souvenir Shop, Washrooms and siting areas. A walk through the park features illuminated pathways which project a sense of pride.

The newly redeveloped Nationalism Park stands as a beacon of national pride and unity, blending history, culture, and modern aesthetics. Designed with a vibrant nightlife theme, the park features stunning lighting installations that create an enchanting ambiance after sunset.
